I’ve waxed (eloquent? Well, at least waxed!! 🤔) about the virtues and quality of this excellent 2020 Zinfandel multiple times, but this wine is still punching well above its weight (the so-called “leftovers” that didn’t make the single vineyard cut), long finish, lovely!! Going to the Bedrock pickup party in Sonoma tomorrow to get some of the 2024s I’ve already purchased, so this is a great warmup!! — 2 months ago

I think this is worth seeking out if you're a CA Syrah fan. Great dirt and "pepper" (my first btl where I said "I get this pepper thing") with a nice balance of mature fruit. Drinking really nice right now. Enjoy! — a day ago
2020 vintage. Excellent second time around too. — 4 months ago
Full disclosure, I really don’t embrace Sauvignon Blanc. There are 2-3 that I really like and this one tops the chart.
$175 for an SB is ridiculous, but got this on the secondary market for $75. It is really good but definitely not worth $175.
Excellent with this dish. When I remember most SB’s, they would not pair with peaches. However, this with its age shows 1/2 elegant SB & 1/2 White Burgundy. Perhaps, that is why I like it so much.
There is not the typical cat pee & heavy cut grass with this bottling.
The nose shows; stone fruits, marmalade, kiwi, pineapple flesh, lemon, lime, softly, understated cut grass, frothed whole milk w/ yellow flowers.
The palate is full, lush & little waxy like a White Burgundy. Nice viscosity. It is gorgeous. Stone fruits, marmalade, kiwi, pineapple flesh, lemon, lime, underripe cantaloupe, honeycomb, touch of caramel-butterscotch notes, softly, cream, understated cut grass, gritty chalkiness with grippy volcanic minerals, gentle, white spice, yellow flowers & white spring flowers, very, round acidity, gorgeous; tension, structure, balance & flat out elegant finish that last two-minutes and lands on white spice.
This is the better pair than the 2012 Gimonnet SC Grands Terroirs de Chardonnay. — 3 months ago

concentration herb Clos Du Val Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 21 good vantage @, Dmar, 251012 — 25 days ago
Clear, deep ruby in color (almost purple); on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of black cherries, cassis, and graphite; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of black plum, violets, blueberries, and wet slate with a long finish. This wine is intense and complex, but could use a bit more acidityto balance the fruit. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie liked it with food. — 2 months ago
A popular US import here in Zürich, at least with my family. Had it many times, very consistent. Solid Cab, very bold and fruit-forward, a little syrupy, some red licorice. Some haters on Delectable, but it never let me down. Very grill-worthy with plenty of smoked meats. — 4 months ago
