Dark berries and cherries in the nose with blackberries, black cherries and cotton candy in the palate. This 2014 was drank in 2024. It was still had high tannins even after 2 hours of decanting. The second half of the bottle was much better the next day. It paired beautifully with a grilled prime NY strip steak with sautéed mushrooms. It also paired well with an aged Carmella cheese — 18 days ago
