Hmm. Perhaps bad luck/an off bottle. I personally have wondered about the longevity of Aubert. It seems engineered for early sumptuousness but I have had a few 5-6 year old bottles that also didn’t live up to expectations.

@Vino Joe, personally, 5 - 6 yrs really does little to excite me. On average, my experience with Aubert is after this period, the risk of a poor showing increases significantly. Just my personal observation.

@David T, that’s a great idea. It was an anti-climax when we restarted drinking again. We are still talking about go-forward plans, but it seems like we will drink on Fridays/Saturdays only…
