Obviously down to personal taste, but for me, these Cali chards present better in their youth. No hesitation pulling the cork from my perspective. I bought a few just to see how the other side live… my interim descriptive noun for myself would be “jealousy.” Those rich bastards…
In my opinion, no @Shay A. The palate profile tilts towards exotic fruits like melons and pineapples. These fruits tend not to have bright acidity. Crescere is soft and muted. It’s a fundamental difference. Aesthete is bright and boisterous, Crescere is so different stylistically. Acidity is relatively flat. Presentation is oily, smooth and waxy. It’s a juxtaposition, but both are excellent.
