The ‘21 Cedarman is almost black with a closed nose. It’s got a huge palate impact. Loads of berry, chocolate, minerals and tannin. Really good just after release and looking forward to what some aging brings. — 6 months ago
The ‘22 Lulu is a beautiful off orange blush with grapefruit, rose and peach on the nose. It’s layered with fruit and minerals and, while still an easy drinker, offers more than your typical California rosé. — 6 months ago
The ‘21 Cuvée Alice is excellent. Clear golden color, honeysuckle and crisp white fruit on the nose. Smooth, viscous, mouth filling with the same sweet white fruits and some balancing acids. — 7 months ago
The 2020 Hayne Zin is medium purple with bright edges, has a deep berry-filled nose with strawberry and vanilla prominent. On the palate, it’s rich with cherry compote, red berry acids, almost no tannins. It’s a very big wine with a very big wow factor. — 4 months ago
Clear, pale yellow; gentle nose of florals, sweet white fruit and citrus. The 2012 Schöelhammer is nicely layered with honey, lemon and minerals but not as powerful as other vintages. Very good and great with food. — 5 months ago
The 2012 Pajè was medium purple with a nose that opened to dark fruit and spices in the glass. Still taught, mineral driven on the palate with deep fruit flavors, even a hint of prune, emerging. Delicious with years to go on cellared bottles. — 6 months ago
The nose on the ‘21 Areio e Vento e Amor hits you from 5 ft away, full of ripe fruit but also chocolate, mushroom, and brush. It’s a translucent purple with a touch of Evangelho dusty-ness in the glass. Smooth and balanced with mild tannins at first, it opened up in the glass and alongside food to some intense berry jam and pepper flavors. — 5 months ago
The ‘21 Juvenile is inky purple with bright edges and a minerally nose that runs a bit hot (15.2% abv). The fruit is subtle and a touch bitter, partially offset by a bit of oaky creaminess. This wine is usually a bang for the buck leader in the Turley line-up, so hopefully a little more time in the bottle will help. — 6 months ago
The ‘20 White Coat is an interesting vintage as it is only Grenache and Vermentino without the usual Roussane. It’s very drinkable, has some hints of more exotic fruits, but not as rich as other White Coats that didn’t suffer from the harsh conditions in California that season. — 7 months ago

The ‘21 Old Vines Zin drinks well right out of the gate. It’s dark red with bright edges, full of red berries, cassis and roses on the nose, and hits the palate with rich, rosy, plum notes along with minerality and nice tannins. All at a great price point. — 9 hours ago
