Not sure how to describe this but it is a pretty darn good wine with steak. Not sweet but not bitter. Smooth. — 10 months ago
Had this with a ribeye. It really complimented the steak well. Although it wasn’t amazing, it was good for the $16 price. I’ll get it again. — a year ago
Having with a ribeye. Bought a year ago so has been aging a year. Perhaps it went bad sitting for a year but when I opened it, the aroma was pleasant. However when drinking it, swirling it, letting it warm & air further, this wine is at least a 7 point over rating by James Suckling. Yeah, his name starts with Suck and he’s well known for overrating wines apparently to help wineries sell any swill. — 2 years ago
This was a pretty decent wine. I don’t remember it as being fantastic but a pretty good wine with red meat. — 7 months ago
This is a pretty nice smooth wine with a bit of a grape juice flavor but not much. It was a nice pairing with a ribeye. I’d get it again. — a year ago
Complete miss. Due to a 30% discount on Total Wine Winery Direct wines I bought this one with a couple others. This one was rated 95 by Suck who’s known to overrate, but I liked his tasting notes. But this wine didn’t have any nuances to it whatsoever. Was very consistent but had no discernible fruit flavor. I want to say it almost tasted like burnt wine. Anyways, last time I’ll buy a Suck rated wine. — a year ago
This was a Costco wine and relatively cheap. And it’s nothing to write more about. — 7 months ago
This is a $11 bottle and it’s a very nice smooth white wine. Had it with some garlic shrimp and a perfect pair. I’d say B+ as not a lot of excitement but it’s a nice even flavor from start to finish. — a year ago
6.1 is the lowest rating possible. This Costco wine is cheap and you get less than what you pay for. Never again. — a year ago
