Needed 30 minutes but what it really needed is 24 hours and it’s getting that. Will report back later. Ahh yeah. 24 hours later this is stunning. Elegant and aristocratic. The sheer class of this is so impressive. Nose has lime zest, vanilla extract, and palate has that 10% opulence hit that just soars into the jagged juicy edges of the finish. 9.5 to 9.7 overnight. Genius. — 6 months ago

Stunningly beautiful wine. Supernatural balance, complete in every direction, glides across the palate with not a hair out of place. So much finesse, so much elegance, and that aristocratic class only the greatest Spätlesen in the world have. In a totally different league. — 2 months ago
What a wonderful wine! The nose is a bit muted and not as expressive as some Kabinett bottlings from the same producer that I had recently. It's also very young. Lemon juice, pineapple, fresh apple, a bit of a petroly thing, too. The nose is full of restraint and rather delicate. The palate is model of balance. Residual sugars are clearly present but the acid backbone is so powerful that what remains in the end is a tangy, very fresh note which leads you to reach for the glass immediately to take another sip. Apple, pineapple and lemon notes all along, a bit of an oily, sirupy texture in the mid palate, some mild grip in the rear and a very lovely zesty touch all over the finish which makes for a great tasting experience. This is superb! — 4 months ago
Solid dry Mosel Spatlese Riesling. Balanced citrus, slate, and petrol aromas. Heavy mouth feel. Not as complex as others I've had recently, but I'm biased having sampled many reserve and Alsatian grand crus. — 7 months ago
Beautiful wine, pears, Mellon good acidity. Went great with seafood pasta with hot pepper. — 6 months ago
Ripe peach and grapefruit with a hint of apricot. On the first night the sweetness dominated (we mainly drink dry Riesling). This was 8.5% ABV with plenty of residual sugar, but on the 2nd night not tasting as sweet. Purity verging on crystalline. Medium plus palate intensity. A class act typical of JJ PRUM. I’m not sure if I have chosen the right title here. There was nothing “Trocken” (Dry) about this Riesling. — a year ago

Germany vs. Côte d’Ivoire; the wine is beautifully aged, just like the game 😉 Pleasing 8.5 Alc. — a month ago
