really oaky and a little too brooding for me. — a month ago
this might be my first Aligote. round and waxy, a little fuller bodied. orange peel, heavy grapefruit, citrus, mineral. extremely high acid. some of the citrus is really underripe or extra tart. also getting a lot of salty character. interesting wine , will let it evolve over a few hours — 2 months ago
very nice, rich grapefruit, intense acid and long grapefruit finish. oil, slate, salt round it out. — a month ago
just ok, something really funky that is taking away from the fruit character — 2 months ago
wow, i’m a fan. this wine has some wildness to it. really searing mineral tension and really pure orchard + tropical fruit. very strong and fresh flavors against a really strong mineral backbone. pear, pineapple, green apple, etc. with some yellow and white flowers. — 2 months ago
this is so good! 9 year old dolcetto. wow blown away. really light bodied, some dusty quality, cherry and plum, very elegant mineral / rocky quality. i get a hint of menthal on the finish. big big fan. — 20 days ago
really pretty fruit + flowers combo. i get purple plum and strawberries. takes an hour to open up and better with a chill but very lovely chianti. — 2 months ago
was hoping for more. very funky and
“dirt”y. maybe barnyard or something else i dont know. rich dried cranberries but ultra dry, too drying on the palate like if you ate a mouthful of dirt. missing balance for me. — 2 months ago

needs an hour to blow off some extra flab. once it opens up it’s a very nice chianti. red fruit - savory herbs - dusty quality - very light touch of mint or eucalyptus. very solid. — 3 days ago
