Followed over a few days. Consistent profile.
From 375ml
Advanced caramel color with a tinge of orange. Thankfully, aromatics are as expected with orange marmalade, caramel and toffee. Viscous and weighty profile with low acidity. Faint notes of honey roasted nuts on the palate, but it’s mostly an orange marmalade, caramel and apricot dominated profile. Finish shows good length for what is considered an off-vintage, with the apricot and some bourbon vanilla. Good on its own. Drink now. — 11 days ago
Light ruby with aromas of red cherry, raspberry, violet, blueberry, and earthiness. On the bud, sour cherry and baking spices. Nice long finish. — 2 months ago
Deep ruby in color with slight brick color on the rim. Nose is quite pleasing with berry compote, lavender, and dark chocolate. Also a bit of earthiness. Wow. A great mouthfeel on this wine. Well balanced with tannins still a bit heavy. That said, I like my wines with a bit more tannic backbone. These notes are from pop and pour taste. Will let it open up a bit and will update if it changes significantly. — 11 hours ago
Happy New Year Delectable!
Double decant and pour. A splendid tawny red color. On the nose: dark fruit, cigar ash, cedar, smoked meat, pencil shavings, mint. Taste: soft, silky, elegant, still fresh wine with dark red fruit, worn leather, graphite, loamy soil, spiced herbs, minty black tea and a dry medium finish. YUM! What a fun wine to end 2024 with. A wine bought at auction, and a cork which was not in the best shape, so not sure if this is a true representation of where this wine is at.

Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.
Fruity nose of red berries, cedar and chocolate notes.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, blueberries, oak, licorice, cola, coffee, peppercorn, light earth and herbs.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after an hour of airtime.
This Single Vineyard Zinfandel is elegant and not 'in your face' kind of wine, which is nice to see out of Napa. Tasty and easy drinking.
Good by itself as a sipping wine and would pair nicely with a burger.
100% Zinfandel grapes were aged for 14 months in American and Hungarian oak barrels. Only 25 barrels produced.
14.9% alcohol by volume.
