This young Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley is already delicious.
A little forward right now, but very enjoyable, especially with barbecue meats or a burger. Good by itself as well.
If you like a young Caymus, this will be a better option. High on the alcohol, but it is not that noticeable.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 3 hours of airtime. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years.
A good sipping wine and good for parties.
I paired it with dried meats, cheeses and crackers.

Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity.

Showing black currants, cooked plums, cedar, tobacco, vanilla, dried figs, raisins, licorice, light earth, peppercorn, cola, spices and dark chocolates.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and crushed peppercorn.
This is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend from Napa Valley. Big and bold. Spicy and tangy. Showing nice complexity at this point.
This 6 year old is drinking beautifully now. Rich yet elegant. Extracted and easy drinking. Well balanced and really delicious.
A beautiful surprise. I had the 2016 a few years ago, and this is drinking much better now. I did not expect it from the 2017 vintage.

Very pretty color of dark ruby with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose with black plums, black cherries, blackberries, light cedar, licorice, vanilla, herbs, tobacco, dark chocolates, black tea and peppercorn
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity.
Dry and fruity on the palate with black currants, plums, sweet cherries, spices, light vegetables, herbs, tobacco leaf, earth, dark chocolates and peppercorn.
Spicy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a delicious Cabernet Franc from Napa valley. Rich and elegant, tangy and interesting.
Well balanced with nice complexity already. Still very young and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
Good right out of the bottle and gets more complex as it opens up. Some red fruits show up after 90 minutes in the decanter. After 4 hours, more bell pepper notes show up.
A great sipping wine, with lots of chocolate notes. Soft and smooth.
A blend of 98% Cabernet Franc and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 20 months in (60% new) French Oak barrels. A tiny production of only 600 bottles made.

This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Oakville in Napa Valley. Elegant and very spicy. Tangy and interesting.
Still young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, but already enjoyable, even as a sipping wine.
Rich, but not extracted. Not 'in your face' kind of wine.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years. Has good potential to become a 93+ point wine.
Needed 3 hours to open up properly, so be patient. Showing nice complexity, once it opens up, with good structure.
Not many good wines from Napa from this vintage, and this is a nice surprise.
I paired it with a Moroccan Lamb dish.
A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Aged in (50% new) French Oak barrels for 22 months. Limited release.

This is a very interesting Cabernet Sauvignon from Arizona. Feels like a Californian Merlot with a Bordeaux twist. Spicy and entertaining.
This 5 year old is showing nice complexity with a smooth mouthfeel. Tangy and interesting. Good by itself as a sipping wine.
Good right out of the bottle ,and changes every 15 minutes in the decanter. Loved it.
I paired it with a Baked Brie cheese and crackers.

This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Elegant and restrained.
Good right out of the bottle, and much better after 90 minutes of airtime, when more structure and tannins show up. Gets earthier after two and a half hours in the decanter. Nose opens up after 2 hours.
This 2020 vintage was a tough vintage, but this wine is showing beautifully now, as a 4-year-old. I just love these Bordeaux blends from Napa.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 10 years. Would be nice to try it again in 4 years, and see how it evolves.
Loved to see a low alcohol Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley.
I paired it with cheeses, crackers and prosciutto. A great sipping wine that will also pair nicely with a nice piece of steak.
