Clos de Tart Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2011

Great expressive red fruit, hints of a sunset in the farm. Taking the age well this 2011. Acidity is remarkable. — 5 days ago

Typical mesnil chard. Very crisp and clean. Pear, honey and toasted brioche. Great acidity and ample bubbles. — 24 days ago

Needs some time. Not as mineral as Valmur. Solid but not real exciting. — a day ago

Arbois Pupillin Poulsard 2012

Quiet … I’m afraid to decant based on age and varietal … subtle currant , mint, new leather , tea berry, faded tropical fruit? — 6 hours ago

Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2014

Expensive but worth it. This Bordeaux is just right now. Paradigmatic Pauillac with deep brooding flavor and bitter finish. Tannins are perfectly smooth. Perfect with steak or on its own while listening to music while contemplating the meaning of life. All of the leather, earth, and tar one can expect from a fine Pauillac and under $100. — 8 days ago

Have poured this via Coravin at the resto last 2.5 years. I go 9.5 but tremendous concentration and QPR. Old-school BDX experience.

Château Lynch-Bages

Grand Cru Classé Pauillac Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 1975

Château Latour

Premier Grand Cru Classé Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2001

Decanted for 30 minutes. On the nose: cedar, sandstone, currents, hint of leather.
On the palate: dissipating tannin, softening cedar, emerging black cherry fruit and soft sandstone.
This is a big, beautiful Bordeaux at its peak with all the softness in the last sip that comes with age.
Drink it now.
