2nd of the Barolo trio for our truffle dinner party
This wine has good grip and good flavor. Somewhere in the middle of classic and modern Barolo
Overall very enjoyable. — 11 days ago
High expectations for this champagne.
Im nervous it froze a bit or was affected by weather for new years. Will never know
There was a slight bitterness at first. It faded with air time.
Overall - no rating. It did the job but did not live up — 14 days ago
Dark amber color
Sat in the basement cellar for 30+ years.

Followed a trio of Barolo with truffles and a magnificent dinner
This bottle paired with chocolate mousse and was a bit unfair but it held up and was a good change of pace to provide more grip
Overall nice balance of body depth and fruit — 11 days ago
From double magnum. The 2nd such bottle from auction
Cork survived and bottle was opened at 230 for a 6pm dinner. First pour at 430pm and this wine was showing nicely.

Joe DAscoli
Holy smokes
3rd of the trio barolos served with truffle dinner
This wine was seriously tertiary. It was mistaken for a Madeira or sherry or port for its dessert like flavors and sweetness though it had no sugar
Very good wine to finish the meal and loved to dessert with
