Fascinating, after my recent run of so-so to DNPIM (do not put in mouth) CdPs from 25 or so years of age, here’s a “basic cuvée” of CdP (think $18-20 bottle on release) that is punching far above its weight, red fruits, very fine CdP that is drinking great now, long, lingering finish, and shows promise for another 3-5 years of aging!! — 6 months ago
Excellent CDP, bright fruit (raspberries/strawberries) on the nose, follows through on the palate, well balanced - only drawback is a slight wooden feel on the back end but easy to look past. Opened up wonderfully after a couple hours. JW big fan. Powerful enough to stand up to red meat despite being a Rhône — 8 months ago
A lovely tarry note initially amongst the red fruits. On the medium weight palate sweet and savoury red fruits. Love CdP from a good year like this one. 70% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre, 10% Cinsault and the remaining 5% split between Muscardin, Counoise and Vaccarese. Completely destemmed and fruit driven. Soft pliant tannins. — a year ago
Unctuous with velvety tannins right off the get go! So rich but not cloyingly so… acidity for balance. Best CDP I’ve had in some time. 2014 paired with grilled rib steak. — 5 years ago
Pretty good CDP, but not as good as the arioso. — 6 years ago

Focus on the finish, inverse of CdP. — 9 months ago
Excellent cdp. Earthy, interesting, complex. — 6 years ago
There is some evident oak up front in this Cuvée Felix, lots of fresh, clean red-fruited Grenache which is less ripe than the 2015 CdP opened with this, some mineral and floral notes as well, very good balancing acidity which keeps the wine youthful (it really seems like a 10-year-old CdP), I’d say it will improve for 5 years and easily last 10 more years, but the long, lively finish means it’s drinking very well tonight!! Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of several hours. The 2021 pours a deep ruby color with a translucent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with fabulous, bright notes of Bing cherry, strawberry, star anis, red flowers, black pepper, cool spices, and stoney earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. This is a beautiful example from one of the more Burgundian producers in CdP, making wine in a very Burgundian vintage. Lovely stuff. Drink now through 2036. Bottle No. 28340 — 7 months ago
One of the better 03 cdp wines. Smoked meat. Great acid. Still strong red fruit with a touch of spice. — 9 months ago
Nose of black tea, portobello, baked plum and soft, unctuous cherry. Kirsch-chocolate, blood orange, French roast, marigold, ferromagnesian elements. Coffee, baking chocolate, black cherry skin, cigar smoke, venison jerky, char, cassis, and vine charcoal.

Delicious. Pretty garnet color; perfume of perfectly ripe dark cherries, blackberries, marzipan and creme de cassis, along with fresh rosemary and a touch of black pepper. Balanced, elegant style of CDP, intoxicating nose. Tannins have settled in. Singing right now — 6 years ago
