No notes. Beef jerky & dark cherries, on nose & palate. Thinner concentration I had hoped for, but suspect age, air and/ or long decant will bring it together — 2 months ago
Jaune doré. Nez fruité. Belle rondeur.

Very nice Cornas from a producer I haven’t had before. Great selection by the somm at Daniel to go with relatively meaty second and third courses. Ever so slightly “modern” in terms of the seamlessness and hint of oak. But really a very nice wine with great dark fruit, pepper, olive, everything you’d want from a northern Rhone. Nice acid on the finish too. — a year ago

Alban is name of first child. what a nose, gamey, stoney, granite, loess, amazing nose. so so sick. red fruits. raspberry coulis. olives, leather, some funk, some barnyard, some horse. wow this nose. wow, so silky, so elegant, big and refined, but juicy and so so elegant. Amazing purity. So open and wide. Coulis. red fruit, so fine, so much velvety tannins, sleek and refined. polished classicism. precise dense deep and lots of material. Drinking so well now. — 9 months ago
Intense fruit aromas: apricot, peach, pineapple, melon, flowers, honeysuckle, almond. Smooth texture, almost milky. A lot of breadth in the mouth. Medium acidity. Powerful, greasy and bitter finish. Superb with a risotto with scallop nuts.
— a year ago
