Nose has crushed rock, lit match, fresh lemon zest, green apple peel/flesh, spring honeysuckle blossom and wet steel.

Palate has warmed lemon wedge, lime zest, under-ripe pineapple, faint salinity, barrel notes rich yet steely finish.

Nose has lemon wedge, crushed flint, cold toast, warmed butter, undistinguished bruised green herbs and a bag of fresh lemons.

Palate has lemon juiced on sandstone, white grapefruit zest, lightly acid-creamy finish is quite interesting and fun, almost like a vinaigrette with great olive oil, fatty-acid mouthfeel combination.

I'll suggest this wine should be really nice in 2-4Y, 2024-26.

Palate has under-ripe tangerine, yellow apple flesh, candied orange, day old lemon wedge, minor barrel influence and light acidity. Gentle in the mouth, very fine bubbles, happy. — 2 years ago

Deep purple color. Red and blue fruits, floral undertones. Big and dense with black and red currants. Fine tannins and medium acid. Had with wedge, filet and au gratin. Very enjoyable, prob needs a few more years to mature. — 4 years ago

Really coming into the zone (for my palate) with reduced acidity and secondary dry-ish fruit notes starting to peek out, dried lemon peel, candied tangerine; dried peach, day-old lemon wedge. Note to future self, drink remaining stock 2025-30. 🤞 — a year ago

Nose has green melon rind, over-ripe peach, orange pith, pink salt slab, golden raisins, dehydrated apricots and celery leaf; Improvement with extended air.

Palate has dried lemon, candied pineapple, warm clementine orange wedge, peach skin, dehydrated peach, wet sand, medium acidity and finish.

This bottle is in a nice spot today, but not up to par with the Ch. La Rame (outstanding showing) today.

$14 Jul 2015; buy and cellar inexpensive Bordeaux Blanc, be very happy later when the acidity settles...

Nose has crushed flint, distant wood smoke, cold pineapple core, lemon curd tart, neutral-ish oak and lemon pith.

Palate has tart/sweet pineapple, lemon wedge, ripe white peach, tangerine peel, rich and round, great finish, great acidity! A long life still ahead for these bottles, at 8 years it's coming into the beginnings of a great drinking window.

You can really appreciate the Puligny-Montrachet & Saint Aubin fruits blended in this wine! — 3 years ago
