Ruby color with a bouquet of dark fruit, spices, leather, oak and floral notes, blended from 3 vineyards, long skin maceration. On the palate flavors of black cherry, currants and raspberry with notes of pepper, floral and mint. Long finish, nice balance with fine soft sweet chewy tannins ending with fruit and earthy notes. Just starting to drink now! Will continue to age. — 3 months ago

Wonderful, light, high-toned with a nice deep cherry. Lovely wine. — 19 days ago
One of my absolute favorite Stella vintages. So giving right off the bat, never shows any heat even in warm vintages, just so fresh and clean with bright pure and voluminous fruit, spices and licorice with balanced acids and a cool minerality. Always such an amazing expression of Sangiovese and without question my favorite. — 2 months ago

The 2017 Barolo Riserva Bricco Boschis Vigna San Giuseppe is redolent of dark fruits, leather, incense, tobacco, lavender and dried herbs. This strapping, muscular Barolo has a ton to offer. All it needs is to soften a bit, and whether or not that happens is something of an open question at this stage. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2023)

Quintarelli is a legendary producer and it was very interesting to try this since I rarely would opt for a €300 Amarone. It has very unique aromatics. Medium bodied but with very intense and luscious profile on the palate. Dark fruits, tomato leaf, herbs, balsamic. Dry finish. 16,5% alcohol that is impressively integrated. — 6 days ago
