Ultimately, it’s an entry level wine from a very good house. Hard to beat for the price. But... no finish. Zero complexity. Table wine at best. — 3 days ago
This is good. If it’s 35* out (Celsius, not Fahrenheit!) and you are by a pool. Tried it blind. Said it was Italian based on the acidity... if not, Canadian. Haha — 3 days ago
I’ve had this Amarone a few times. Not it’s best vintage, but still a good wine with the right food. I’m not sure aging it any more would have made it any better to be honest. — 10 days ago
Thought it was an Italian white. Just a bit further north west. Very good. Crisp green Apple.... or that could be the nduja talking. — 3 days ago
Had the Tomassi Ripasdo a few days ago, and it was, as the French would say... Le Trash.
I’ll Sestante is different... way better than I remember it. It actually tastes like a Ripasso.
