My first sparkling Riesling and it is indeed fun and interesting. Bright clear straw color with little green flecks. A fine mousse with small energetic bubbles. A fantastic citrusy nose heavy on lemon zest and fresh limes. Apricots and pears. An abundance of green and red apples along with toasted bread. There’s some really nice wet stone minerality action here as well.

Easily one of the most intriguing sparklers I’ve had in a while. Very classically styled and so reminiscent of champagne in so many ways. Highly zippy acidity and innate freshness. Personality and character in droves. Bone dry and spunky with a medium body and a long finish. The palate is generous with more citrus fruit and just a bit of earth. Outstanding - tastes like NSG/Gevrey blend. Quite dark. Dark fruit with a touch of cherry and a raspberry aftertaste. Cloves. Plenty of minerals. Very well managed tannins. This would be 80-100$ if it would be a Burgh. Bought only 2 bottles to sample the wine but will buy this in the future. Very Burgundian. Gorgeously poignant mineral nose. Lemon, lemon flower. Closed but it’s all there. Direct mineral essence that goes straight up your nose. Yellow flowers, wild mint, melon, green possibly orange. Wow the mint, Really intense and expansive. Palate is so silky and my goodness what a mineral explosion. Round and yet so mineral. Wow. This is mindblowing. So juicy and compact. Amazing, wine of the collection mouthfeel and a finish that just keeps pumping the most intense and mouth caressing minerals. The nose is such a round, mineral bomb. Omg the fruit is coming out. Tangelo, red grapefruit, kumquat. Not a loud wine but a serene, gentle wine that has not one hair out of place. This is becoming the signature wine of the estate. 19/21/22 all perfect or near perfect wines. Wow what a silky texture and just perfect balance. Salty finish. Let’s see what air does. Sensational. As this opens the nose becomes crazy confectionary. The palate is silky, textured, dense and superbly balanced and pure but seems to be closing. But what a finish. — 3 years ago

Nicely aromatic with yellow fruit, vineyard peaches & apricot, some lime freshness.
On the palate this is a perfect balance of juicy acidity and ripe fruit. Creamy mouthfeel, almost Burgundian in style.
