Tasted blind. Dark tawny with good fruit, mocha, black cherry. Tannins fully resolved. This is clearly old and a CMF wine (Chateau Mind F***). The consensus thinking is this is really old, really good and something we’ve not had before. I guess 78 Guigal La La. Other guesses were equally all over the board. Great to try out an old/aged Spanish wine… one of our group is exploring more of these old Spanish wines, given the rise in cost of everything else around it. Thanks for sharing Steve! — 21 days ago
This has developed a bit more complexity on the nose since my last taste a year ago. Red cherry and blackberry followed by incense, black tea, vanilla, and a bit forest floor and hint of smoked meat, then the lovely cherry note resurfaced. Well balanced with acidic and tanning structures for further aging. What a value! — 2 days ago

Transparent ruby magenta. Piquant, tamarind and exotically red fruited nose with a hint of white pepper and hot road tar. Red florals and red candy, then a crunchy-chewy bit of saltwater taffy or sweet red starburst candy on the palate. Such a salty, juicy and delicious finish. Really stylistically unique and totally delicious. — 3 days ago
I had the 2016 vintage. Really enjoyed it. Apology for no specific tasting notes. — 4 days ago

Simply stunning. We drank the 1976 vintage which remains incredibly fresh with a lovely balance of fruit and tannins. Amazing and a fabulous wine. — 21 days ago
