There is freshness, stemmy wet leaves, raspberries, the mazuelo bringing some tannins to the elegant red fruit driven Garnacha. Fresh, tense, spicy red. Good weight to its lightness — 7 months ago
Unusual nose for a riesling, ripe boned fruit, quince, butter, nutmeg, beautiful acidity, body and freshness. — 7 months ago

Expressive nose of red and blue feuit, mesium bodied, decent length and fine tannins, yet nothing exciting. — 5 months ago
Its glory buttery and ripe white boned fruit days are behind. I confront an oxidative nose with hints of almond, brown sugar and hay. Distant Lemmon and quince. Good acid, old fruit. — 7 months ago

A hint of blood, blueberries, wet leaves, forest. Firm tannins, good acid, elegant texture, yet loses volume in the palate. Oak subtle, long, notes of powder.spices. Liquorice. Complex. Dark side of Mencía — 7 months ago

Quite surprised with the ageing of this 2017 drunk in 2024. A blood like scent (no Brett), followed by tons of primary, black currant, plums, sweet oak spice. Black. I feel a bit the alcohol and also the peak, acidity falling and warming the front palate. Yet, 2017, complex in the nose, a bit alcoholic in the mouth…stands out at his age. Good — 4 days ago
