Purchased in 2011 - Christmas vacation. Drank in 2024 and had with steak, baked potato and broccoli — 23 days ago
Ruby color with aromas of dark red fruits, forest floor notes and herb spice, barrel-aged 10 months in French oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with leather, pepper, tea and herb spice. Fine tannins, long finish, well balanced with acidity, ending with fruit, herb, spice and earthy character. Nice! — 20 days ago
Had in Newburyport at Brine - absolutely delicious. More like a zin but with the super bold edge taken off. Big, bold and would go great with lamb or steak — a month ago
Delicious, smelled darker than it tastes. ~1hr decant. Medium body, very well balanced fruits. — 2 months ago
My first cult rosé. Hefty from all perspectives: eye, nose and palate. Flourishing, strawberry, cherry, some cinnamon and pepper as well. On the palate it drinks more like a light red than a rosé with lots of ripe strawberries and maraschino cherries but good acidic balance and even some tannins with a licorice finish. Even needed a good hr to open up. Pleasant mind bender for sure. Cheers. — 18 days ago
Medium golden color. Expressive aromas of lime, lemon and flint. The complex palate features grapefruit, almond and roasted coconut. Lovely mineral note on the finish. Nice creamy texture. Quite concentrated, plush and beautifully balanced. Outstanding! Appreciate you sharing this wine, Kase! — 2 months ago
Blue-red berries layered with a pervasive malty sweetness and cocoa-accented depths. Red jolly ranchers rolled in iron and mineral dust. Robust; a bit inky, but light-footed; lively acids running through. Classy bottle; aging beautifully with a long way to go. — 3 months ago
