This overdelivered on expectations. Love the color; a hazy deep garnet color. Pop and pour! Warm blackberry / blueberry pie and baking spices. Great texture to this; a gravelly wave across the palate, kicking up some dust and gentle oak. Not overly complex, but does build some layers with time in the glass. Nice extraction, stained my glass a bit. Crowd pleaser for sure.

Sep 11th, 2022Bam! Wow this wine was exploding from glass as soon as it was poured and had great fruit. Remainder was well balanced and not jammy or overripe.

Wow. I’ve had this wine 5 times. It’s always been great. It’s now in its peak window. Looking forward to evolution over next few years.
