At Seldon Standard (per Eve) 12/11/2022. Kermit Lynch. Dark red. Cherry juice. Great tannins. Long finish. — 2 months ago
Chardonnay from different parcels around Saint Romain, a relatively unknown appellation not far from Meursault, but at a fraction of the price. Vinified in tank and oak. Pale golden color. Aromas of pear, vanilla, some oaky notes. Medium to full-bodied. Quite rich and round. Citrus and minerals on the palate. Tasty, nice saline finish — 6 months ago
Imperial with Andrew Dutton, Neil Fong etc. Aromatic, mild potpourri nose. Pretty palate. Nose really opened up. Gorgeous. Love this wine. — 3 months ago
From Frenchie. More tart than normal but really good. — 5 months ago
A ripe, soft style. Nose has earthy, crumbly granite, beef blood, iron, and purply berries. Mouthfilling and soft, the dark flavors have roasted herbs, iodine, unsweetened dark chocolate, and pungent berry ooze. Acids on the low side, but nicely-textured and full of flavor. Good value. Weirdly, the cork says “Domaine des Chemins.” That leads me to wonder whether this is essentially a negotiant buying and marketing fully-made wines. — 3 months ago
Full flavored White Burgundy. Hints of honey and mineral taste. Delicious. — 5 months ago
