Gooseberry, grapefruit but also some stone fruit - assertive flavor makes an interesting flavor but challenging food pairing — 10 months ago
The nose does not present much. A slight hint of apricot but you really have to dig deep to search it out. The pallet on the other hand is very pronounced. Slightly dry and acidic the fruit is lemon and apricot with a hint of straw. The finish of apricot lingers. A bargain at 15.98 from Wine Exchange. — a year ago

Fresh and fruity. Minerals. vincent girardin bourgogne blanc cuvee saint-vincent 19 @, Vin, 240928 — a year ago
Very nice flavours of cherry, plum, raspberry, and a touch of leather/earthy (in a good way!) Well balanced. Nice bottle too! — 2 years ago
Very delicate body with almost invisible tannins. Surprising acidity and a wonderfully complex blend of summer fruit and mellow herbaceousness. — 4 months ago
Unreal nose for one of the best wines in all of NSG. Gorgeous black cherry fruit that is so clear and vivid. A hint of black plum but more black plum skins. Wild mint, desiccated tree bark, wild flowers and mega forest floor. Just stunning. 9.6 or 9.7 nose. Rich and deep with awesome purity and freshness. Really lush and succulent with terrific tiny berry fruit intensity. Superb concentration, structure and juiciness. Such a baby but not inaccessible. Really long finish and so compact. Glorious and can’t wait to see what the evening brings for this wine. This did get riper, “soupier” and plummier. Showed its “20” bones. Still fresh and deep but man 20 is all plum it seems like at some estates. — 5 months ago
Balanced in every way. I love it. — 2 years ago

Funny how sometimes I’m guilty of thinking “ letting the Brett blow off” to taste the main event. Here the development in the glass is the main event, which includes quite a bit of funk when first opening up. That the evolution includes wild blackberries & cassis, & the funk adds to the overall impression of something feral getting tamed, is all part of the fun. Fine grained & can be drunk young, but curious how it would fare in 8-10 years ( imagine a much more smoothed out development & sweetness). — 3 months ago
