Vibrant rich ruby color and fresh strawberry flavors with great balance. Still a long life ahead — 10 days ago
Great wine, multiple vintages. Herbal, crisp, clean en great finish. Kind of cult wine from the loire valley — a month ago
Absolutely stunning for a a 20 year old Chenin Blanc. Dried apricot tea and honey with a good amount of minerality and acidity.

I don’t know what to think of this throughout the experience. It was funky with all kinds of damp wood and forest floor and exotic dark incense type characters very 1er Gevrey. In the mouth it was deep and rich but still with lift and verve fruit intact and a nice finish. By the bottom of the bottle the aromas were so heady, like concentrated brand new leather interior of a car still going down easy with a nice extract and fruit wrapped in complexity. Have never even heard of the producer. Excited to see the other couple bottles! I’m giving it an extra .1 because it’s 22 years old and holding nicely. — a month ago
Magnum next to magnum of monopole auxey same vintage. More brooding masculine of the two. Brutish and powerful. Could easily withstand the test of much much more time. Lots to love here. Great style energy everything all around awesome. Auxey came out ahead for charm of course. Random purchase. Wish I had more. — 17 days ago
In my notes from Garagiste, Jon said to wait for 10 years so I buried this in the cellar. I’ve been staring at this for a while thinking I must have waited way too long. I was very wrong. It was Chinese night so figured “why not”. Golden color with a sweet honey profile slathered with minerals and a touch of acidity. Very long finish. — a month ago
Virtual tasting: This wine needs to breathe and open a bit. It is more than a vin de pays yet seemed a bit tight. Bell pepper and and red fruit appear. Would stand up to beef bourginon or rich stews. — a month ago
