Nov 19, 2020. Celebrating some Italian holiday in August — Feast Italian wine sale. Whoa. Big Aglianico! I don’t get much fruit in this 2009 vintage, mostly leather, earth, tar and LOTS of pepper. Interesting. Love it. — 14 days ago
Cherries, leather and tar for miles.
Great acidity. Tastes like the earth w fruit. Phenomenal life. Jumps out of the glass. Screams northern Italy.
Soft, integrated tannins. — 8 days ago
16.5/20 (91/100) Аромат ванили, душистого перца, спелых чёрных ягод и шоколада. Тельное с довольно высокой кислотностью и интенсивными, сухими, мелкозернистыми по текстуре танинами. Очень молодо. — 11 days ago
Oldest wine I’ve ever had and an impressive showing at 50 years. Bit brown and leathery but the fruit, acid, and tannin are all still showing. Notes of Nixon and moon landing. — 3 days ago
Spicy and fruity. Still has some time to age. Great for drinking with The Godfather movies — 5 days ago
Fantastic wine. Had an odor that reminded me of nail polish of all things. But the flavors were peppery and very precise. — 13 days ago
Strong flavor with chocolate and deep berry undertones. Beautiful wine for an evening post a long week. — 12 days ago
A bit on the modern side. Opaque deep ruby color. Lots of kirsch on the palate followed by hints of leather, spice and earth. Very nice. — a day ago
