Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

As always, a perfect pairing with steak.

2023 Vintage. A very pleasant and easy drinking Napa Cab up front. Decent aroma on the nose, vibrant notes of cherry and blackberry, delicately structured tannins, with a very smooth finish. Not chewy or viscous, but still a bold Cab flavor that resonates with the right amount of spice. Would gladly enjoy again.

Buddy’s bottle he showed up with for game and tacos. Good, but not my favorite. I always feel Caymus has a sugar issue.

Seems like really smooth tannins and sweet blackberries, kinda odd for a Cab.

1L. Not my style. Ok over all. Juicy and big, chocolate overtures. Dark berries, mostly sweet blackberries, tastes pretty stemy but i assume this has no stems. Chassis. 14.2%.

Like all young Caymus, heavy Oak on the front. Mellowed some after about 30 min!
