Wow. This is delightful. Plums and spice, with a little black cherry providing a touch of subdued brightness. Not too imposing tannins dry it out a bit at the finish. In a good way. Man, for $40, I'm the furthest things from mad at this. — a month ago

Nose is earthy like damp dirt after a rain. Bold start with a body that slightly lingers. Taste is hard to pin point but quite enjoyable. Dryness is balanced. Leaves you wanting another sip. — a month ago
Great! Fruit forward and berry berry. I do believe they put some of that top-rated Caymus in this bottle. It’s that good. — 2 months ago
We recently had this by the glass at Peaks, NYC. We enjoyed it so much that we bought a few bottles. While I consider this to be a “construction site,” I respect what the Wagner’s have accomplished. Not gonna bother with tasting notes as this is just a cherry compote fruit bomb. Tasted using a coravin as a few glasses represents a meal on its own. — 22 days ago

This 8-year-old Petite Sirah from California is really delicious now. Showing great complexity on the nose and palate.
Big, bold and extracted. Rich and fruit forward.
Peaking now, and will continue to drink nicely over the next few years. I really enjoyed how complex it has become in the last few years since I last had it.
Still powerful, and good right out of the bottle.
A good sipping wine that will also pair nicely with a big piece of steak.
14.6% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
