2024 vintage. First Picpoul Blanc to date I’m ashamed to say, but was not disappointed. Pale yellow in color, decent floral aromas not too dissimilar from a Sauvignon Blanc, but a drastic difference in the taste; crisp apple and pear on the palate but less of that classic flinty mineral finish. Decent acidity, lightly structured. This would’ve paired nicely with some local Chesapeake crab cakes. — a month ago

2021 vintage. New Zealand’s South Island continues to deliver. Light berry hue in color, rustic red almost brick red at the rim. Vanilla, spice, with a touch of smoke on the nose, blackberry and cherry on the palette. Medium to low bodied, smooth finish, paired exceptionally well with barbecue chicken breast, asparagus, and sweet potato. Would definitely enjoy again. — a month ago

2021 vintage. Cherry and blackberry on the palate, decent nose and a smooth finish. Definitely a different feel and taste for a Willamette Valley Pinot, more subtle earthy tones than most other Pinots from this region, but delicious nonetheless. Enjoyed with German Bratwurst and potato salad. — a month ago
