A bit young, but very serious 1st Cru — a month ago
Remarkably fresh and fruity And surprising considering its age. — 2 months ago
Opened just prior to dinner. The 2008 Coteau de Vernon pours a deep straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of peach cup with the pears and cherry too. There’s white flowers, honey, fresh mint and other herbs too. Wow! On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and oily. This bottle came across young. A benchmark Condrieu. Drink now through 2038. — a month ago

2023 vintage. Resto cost $14.50 or so per bottle. Excellent value for a step above entry-level red Bordeaux. Structure, fruit and purpose. 3.27.26. — 14 days ago
