Luv Schrader Cabs! A bright purplish garnet color. Nose fills the senses with dark ripe cherry and plum fruits, vanilla, spice and lingering menthol with a subtle hint of cedar. A wonderful full body wine!! Creamy and juicy where the dark red fruit burst in the mouth giving it a luscious feel. Other notable characteristics are the subtle chocolate espresso, spice, crushed rocks and a smoky tobacco long finish. Rutherford dusty tannins are definitely present but well integrated. Another hot evening, but inside enjoying this sophisticated wine.

1.5 hour decant (some fine/cloudy sediment). A monumental dark purplish garnet color. On the nose: dark ripe cherry, spice, vanilla, menthol, red plum, some cedar. Taste: a creamy, rich, juicy, full body wine with cherry, chocolate espresso, spice, crushed stone, and a smokey tobacco medium plus finish. Red fruit and a nice balanced/elegant wine (not a bomb) which hallmarks the Georges III Vineyard. Like how TRB tames the tannins so you can enjoy his wines young or let em age.
