Ruby red color with purple highlights. Aromas of red and black berry fruit and black Concord grapes. Flavors of cooked blackberry, black cherry, ripe cranberry and pomegranate. A bit of a vinegar note. Short finish and a bit tart. Light bodied, thin texture but quite vibrant. Not much complexity or tannin, but that is to be expected.

Had it right out of the barrel on the 3rd Thursday in November! Dark ruby red, spice and pepper accents, sweetened over time, paired nicely with a traditional Coq au Vin.
