We last had a bottle on 11th July 2020 and this time it showed better. Red savoury fruits mainly cherry and a plum skin note. Still with that burnt bracken note which is not unattractive. On the palate like Bass Phillip but more succulent. The Macedon Ranges just north of Melbourne is a proven good area for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay - a neighbour being the highly credentialed Bindi Wines. — 2 months ago
@Delectable Wine this is a Nielluccio, not Vermentino. Thanks! Location; Barnaba near Piramide in Rome. Which has a great wines list of little gems like this for comparably great prices. — 5 months ago
My first Joshua Cooper wine - had to check out the Young Winemaker of the year for 2020 awarded by Gourmet Wine Traveller magazine. Joshua has recently turned 32. This wine was quite rich and dense and a little closed aromatically - obviously quite young. Ripe plum, rose petals, with a little vegetal matter. - a big future ahead. Joshua has had wide experience with Australian wineries and in Burgundy with Domaine de la Vougeraie and Domaine Jean-Jacques Confuron. This wine from the cool climate Macedon Ranges with high profile neighbours like Bindi and Curly Flat. — 24 days ago
See notes from 26 weeks ago where I gave this wine 95 points, up a point now to 96 points+. A superb Pinot Noir where previous notes apply and then some. Slightly more earthy “gout de terroir”. Compost heap and Sous Bois. One of Australia’s best Pinots and definitely of Premier Cru/Grand Cru quality at a fraction of the price. Sadly my last 2009. — 3 months ago
Nice, smooth taste. — 9 months ago
Soft, beautiful, and easy to drink. What more can I say? — 3 months ago
Dedalus wine club nov 2020. Man, if I had gotten to drink whites like this earlier in my life, it would have taken me much less time to realize that I’m a big white wine fan — 2 months ago
Holding up great, this has plenty of fruit and terrific balance of acid. Black tea and earth flavors in abundance on the medium-long finish. No hurry to drink the other two bottles in the rack. — 5 months ago

Notes as previous 2 notes - the most recent as in April 2020. This is a cracking new world Chardonnay and all previous notes apply. Very funky, smoky and an almond note. Barb said honey suckle. Have 1 left - not sure it can show better than this and previous tastings. — a month ago
