Not ITB but did the WSET Diploma in London "for fun". :-)
Stunning. Absolutely in the slot for my palate. Energetic, vibrant, multifaceted with layers of complexity. Just fantastic. Drink now or maybe hold for another 5 years? — 2 months ago
Has collapsed into something resembling a stripped down Dry Red. I can only guess that it should have been drunk soon after release. Shame. — 6 months ago
Passed me by. Drank it over a few days. Tired it cooler and warmer but to my palate this bottle was feeling a few years past it's prime. Still very nice but none of that energy and pizzazz a good Riesling has, whether it's old or young. Might try the next bottle in about 5 years. — 7 months ago
Really lovely. Full of zest and life. Held a beautiful profile in the palate for absolutely ages (even when we had finished dinner and the bottle and while watching Collingwood. And if there's anything to put a bad taste in your mouth it would be Collingwood Football Club).
I still believe, for my palate, that Watervale/Springvale Grosset Rieslings drink better young, while the Polish Hills are better with age. — 2 months ago
Drunk over three nights. Nice enough but didn't have that invigorating, life-giving lift that you hope for in a good wine. Will it get better? Was it in a dumb phase? Who knows. — 6 months ago
Didn't enjoy me at all. Palate fell apart with the acid and tannins sticking out. Feels like this should be drunk very young. Much prefer his Pinots. Shame, as I love a good Yarra Cabernet. — 7 months ago
Eight years old and still looking pretty fresh. Nothing inherently "wrong" with this bottle but nothing really gripped me or kept me coming back for more. Not sure if it will improve more with age, or if Yarra is just not my jam for Chardonnay. — 2 months ago
Gosh this was nice. Sometimes I can find Aussie Cabernet Sauvignon a bit forced. Not with this bottle. Beautiful structure and elegance in the mouth. Just the right balance of lifting fruit and gripping tannins. Right on target for my palate. Drink now or hold for another 5 years. — 6 months ago
Absolutely everything you would want from a wine, especially at this price point. Delicious, interesting, complex and very refreshing. Bingo! Drink now or hold for another 5 years. — 7 months ago

I could drink this all evening. Such purity of fruit but not a whisper of confection about it. Fragrant and lifting. Everything a young Pinot should be. Good to go now or hold for at least 5 years. — 2 months ago
