We had our last bottle ten years ago and this little beauty is still going strong. It's mellowed a touch but still fresh as a daisy. No toasty elements here, it's all mouthfilling goodness. A beautiful wine. Full of life, energy and flavour. Not cloying, but refreshing. Delicate across the palate for a wine displaying aged Chardonnay characteristics and so full of flavour. Drink now or hold for another few years. — 2 years ago

Light and refreshing, beautiful acid with a delicate mouth-feel. A touch "simplistic" but maybe all the better for it. Drink now. Not sure it's got the stuffing for the long haul but I think my palate might be more tuned to Clare Riesling. — 2 years ago

A gentle, well balanced, crunchy Victorian Cab. Less blueberries/blackcurrant/fruit, more structure and finesse. A wet vintage and I'm not sure whether to keep our other bottle or to drink it now. Went well with pizza. 😁🍕 — a year ago

Started off with a bang and then faded. Alas, probably should have taken my own advice, as per my previous note here ten years ago, and tried this about five years ago. It looks to have not developed into a complex beast nor kept much of its early thrill. Definitely Sémillon on the nose and palate but after 30 minutes, and/or a few glasses, it seemed to fade to generic white wine 101. Shame, as we've got two more bottles. — 2 years ago

Not sure what's going on here. Didn't seem to be made in a classic Fumé Blanc style. Very simplistic. Drank over a few hours while waiting for something to happen. Nothing much did. Lovely label. — 2 years ago

Absolutely delicious. Super pale salmon pink. Quite an incredible palate, almost peach-like in texture (peach skin) and flavour. A refreshing sour twist on the finish. More please. — a year ago

Lovely bright mid gold with a fleck of green. Nose fresh and lifted, clean as a whistle (no Kero) pithy citrus. The palate is alive. Gripping fine acid keeps you coming back to the glass. Not overly complex but beautifully balanced. This bottle still has time in its legs. — 2 years ago

Gorgeous pale pink/musk colour. Lovely nose of rose petals and promises so much. Alas on my palate it just fell apart. A touch too much residual sugar? Not enough grip on the finish. Shame. Drunk over two nights. — 2 years ago
