Damp forest floor and mushrooms on open. A 30 minute decant helped this wine blossom into tart cherry, old leather and a bit of cigar box. Med tannins. Dark chocolate and spice hold thru the velvety finish. Still evolving and great value on an extensive list — 9 days ago
Aromas of buttered popcorn that blew off to butter, citrus and white flowers. Viscous wine that coats the mouth, but not in an unpleasant way. Bright key lime and other citrus with fresh mineral crispness. Definitely some oak influence, but not the primary like with a chard — 4 days ago
