Back dating our reviews as we’ve been to this (excellent) restaurant twice in the past three days!
Superb seafood and this Chablis was the perfect accompaniment.
👏 to Michael the resident Sommelier for the selection.

Funny how sometimes I’m guilty of thinking “ letting the Brett blow off” to taste the main event. Here the development in the glass is the main event, which includes quite a bit of funk when first opening up. That the evolution includes wild blackberries & cassis, & the funk adds to the overall impression of something feral getting tamed, is all part of the fun. Fine grained & can be drunk young, but curious how it would fare in 8-10 years ( imagine a much more smoothed out development & sweetness). — 2 months ago

Rich, showing lemon zest with a perfumed nose of saline, white flower, chalk & wet stone — 2 months ago
Had the 2024 in August of 2025. What a really neat little wine. Light pink color. Some strawberry, peach and orange blossom on the nose. Delicate little wine. Some strawberry, honey and a light floral character on the tongue. Short finish but very tasty. Would drink this one again. — 2 months ago
From one of the absolute best sites in Chassagne, the ‘22 vintage and third vintage from Theo Dancer is expectedly superb, and the sunny and impeccably located La Romanée vineyard is profoundly textural, satiny and incisive with a particularly citrusy profile with freshly baked bread and chalky minerality. This is of course, still very young and is without a doubt built to age. — 3 months ago

Decant your white burgs! This improved so much with air. There’s such power and verve with incredible depth and seamlessness of its layered Chablisen minerality, with buttercream, roasted hazelnuts and an ocean spray-like salinity. It’s texturally captivating, wrapping around the palate with killer density without weight. Racy acids balance its richness and secondary nuttiness and it finishes forever. Excellent. — 2 days ago
