" A full-bodied wine shows ripe dark fruit aromas, voluminous richness and plentiful tannins." — 25 days ago
I think this might be my favorite Fevre wine, even more Les Clos and Preuses. Distinctly Chablis, but I get some stone fruit and honeysuckle. So good — a month ago
So easy to forget how good a simple class can be. I’ve tasted this so many times, but almost always in horizontal lineups together with its more prestigious siblings and instead I just opened a bottle and a weekday and really thoroughly enjoyed it. Lees, mouthfeel and acid balance. It delivers so much by showing off so little. — 6 days ago
An excellent wine from a not great year. Gorgeous on the nose. Plum, cassis, lavender, and milk chocolate. Just a bit weak on the finish. — a month ago
Auction wine. Broken cork. Again. Wine was at base of the neck. I think cakebread got a batch of bad corks. No wine into the cork and they all broke right at the end. Not sure how it affected the wine but it’s been a consistent issue
Wine exhibited some decent fruit but no real depth or grip. Very smooth and medium body but missing some power and complexity expected from this site.

Grippy tight and tannic at opening but softened into juicy plum and cranberry with graphite and soft tannins. Lovely. Drink now if you have any of the 96 left. — a month ago

Pop and pour. A striking medium gold color. On the nose: wonderful aeromatics of apple, honeycomb, floral, lemon, almonds. Taste: lean, waxy, balanced mouthcoating wine with tart apple, saline, lemon rind, crushed stone, and a minerally orange peel lingering finish. YUM! Should have more time to go. — 9 days ago
