We had a vertical tasting of Jessie Vineyard. 2015 and 2017. Both were very good. Both have tastes of raspberry and strawberry. The tannins are smoothed out. The 2017 has a 93 score for the vintage. There is a a little acidic bite. The 2015 has a 95 score for the vintage. A wonderful mouth feel. Has some black tea on the palate as well. I would buy more Jessie. The 2015 was one of the better Cristom wines. — 6 days ago

We had the 2018 and 2019 Vintages in a vertical tasting on 8/8-9/26. Two similar wines. Both had black cherry on the bouquet and palate. That flavor was more pronounced in the 2018; the 2019 had a bit more spice and minerality. Both are similar; truly California; tannins all smoothed out. Almost full bodied. — 2 months ago

We had the 2022 Vintage in honor of Spain’s World Cup victory. That was much better than this wine. Tastes of blackberry, cherry and leather. Simple. Light bodied. There has to be better — 3 months ago

We had the 2012 vintage on 9/27-28/26. A nice CndP. Scents of black fruit and the garrigue— the herbaceous scent. Medium to full bodied. Tastes of blackberry, plum, kirsch and all spice. Long finish. Tannins all smoothed out. Still a good wine. — 11 days ago

We had the 2019 Vintage on 7/9-11/26. The wine held up over these three days. Once again, the wine’s highlight is a smooth and silky mouthfeel. The characteristic flavors of a good RRV are all there: cherry, strawberry, raspberry and cinnamon. Medium bodied, well balanced, New World. Very good — 3 months ago
