Clos Ste. Hune Alsace Riesling 1983

WotY finalist. WTF nose of caraway, felt pads, molasses and oregano. Mouth is insane fresh with laser tag structure. More savory Crème brûlée than Riesling. — 13 hours ago

Three previous bottles from different vintages have all been oxed. Never understood the hype. But now I do.

Back at Select having oysters and crudo, and the 2022 vintage holds up well. Dry, crisp, slightly tart, no sweetness. — a month ago

Reserve Alsace Pinot Gris 2018

Delicious. Would’ve preferred a bit more age on this, to balance out the sweetness… but ~7 years is enough to make it interesting. Paired incredibly well with the Golden Eye Snapper course at ATOMIX. I look forward to trying a 15-years old vintage; great QPR. — 3 months ago

Alsace Gewürztraminer 2019

Classic for this producer. Dry 14.5%. Oily and viscous. Good acidity. Touch bitter, apricot, hint roses. Just for asian food - really. So fruity the perception is - it is sweet. — 5 months ago
