Yellow gold. Viscous and heavy in the glass. Bright fruity nose with notes of apricots, peach, spice, honey and crushed white stone. Very rich and glycerol in the mouth, but has a big backbone of structure and acidity. With air, it amplifies. Still young in its life, but a pleasure right now. Wanted something different tonite and the FE delivered.

No glyceral heaviness at all. Full flavored and with some petrol notes but no exotic elements and acid remains quite high. This paired with a bacon and onion tart really was one of the best pairings in recent memory. Fantastic and for current consumption. This wine's complexity went certainly beyond the fruit spectrum.

Ridiculous. Deep scents of pure honey, apricot, and the kind of dank minerality you get only in Alsace. Rich weighty entry with intense clinging flavors. Long finish surprisingly pops with acidity. Just about perfect.

02/07 comparison!! Fun! 02 more developed on the nose, candied ginger, dried apricots, fenugreek! 07 has impressive texture, not as developed but time will tell!
