Same notes from my Feb ‘23 review below. Just exceptional California Chardonnay. I have one left from this vintage that I’ll hold for a little while longer but I can’t imagine this getting better than it’s drinking now. I’ve had more recent vintages of this wine and they came in mid 14abv and while good, they’re different, this is 13%. Still down to meet you at Hirsch @Turd Fergusson — 2 months ago
@delectable this is Domaine Saumaize-Michelin Pouilly-Fuisse Ampelopsis. Ampelopsis is only made from the best years, is a barrel selection from multiple terroirs, and sits on lees a year longer than typical Pouilly-Fuisse. Pretty fucking delicious Chardonnay. — 2 months ago

Brickhouse’s flagship Pinot, estate fruit, best barrels. Integrated tannin, cherry fruit, some savory forest notes, enjoyed over a several hours without food and the last glass was the best. Worth the wait, I dig it. — 25 days ago
