Dried plum, dark chocolate; eucalyptus, soy sauce, black licorice, and stewed blackberry. More nonfruit than fruit on the nose. Acidity adds plenty of youthfulness. Black olive and dark cherry fruit. Supple on the mouth. Well made. Delicious. Drinking well now. — 4 years ago

Terrible label, excellent beer. — 7 years ago
A baby. But outrageously pure, complex and soooo focussed. Like rose petals and pancetta gently mascerate in soy sauce and infused with an essence of fresh sea air. Simply spectacular - revisit in 10 years at earliest. — 8 years ago
Belgian fruitiness on the nose, pleasantly creamy head, medium bodied with a complex balance of sweet, bitter and fizz. Nice, dry finish. Great with spicy and fried food. — 3 months ago
Bit if development, quite wide ruby garnet rim . Nicely open and ready to go , cigar box , ripe cassis , touch of soy , cedar , Asian spices . On the palate quite strict and serious , dark cassis , soy , grafite , spicy touches . Good length and still pretty grippy tannin . Very nice now , in a good place though will stay on this plateau for a while , drink over the next 10 years . — 4 years ago
Tasted blind. Dark tawny color. Sweet, candied fruit nose with notes of dark raspberries, some spice, some mocha, some gravel stone and a little soy sauce. In the mouth, there is a dryness to it when compared to the great nose and smells this gives off. Very masculine. Punches you in the face. Guessed 89 Rousseau Clos de Beze. Great juice! — 4 years ago
@Delectable this is Chateau de Bousval Gouttes d'O 2018. Chardonnay — 6 years ago
Tasted blind. Brownish red and cloudy. Opaque. Nose of cola, earth, cherry and Heath bar. Ok in the mouth but unfulfilling. Short finish. Tannins completely resolved. Liked it at first but with more air this collapses to notes of just soy sauce and port. Interesting to try. — 8 years ago
Medium ruby , touch of pink on the rim . Quite expressive dark fruits , cassis , blackberry , touch of spice and coffee , smoky soy sauce and tobacco. On the palate nice cool dark cassis and spicy blackcurrant , with fresh acidity and a saline mineral depth . Fine but noticeable tannins , well balanced and decent length. Drinking well now with a bit of time in the glass or in decanter . Now and over the next 7-10 years . A really good and enjoyable example of a second wine from a vintage that the more I try the more I like . — 3 years ago
From nearly purple and dense in the middle to slightly orange brim surrounding the surface.
Nose as classic as it gets
Dark cherry, leather, truffle, licorice and.. soy sauce..and coffee..and if you keep swirling you get more and it isn't that classic anymore
The palate is full and in great tension
So fresh and vibrant
Almost whips you mouth
Majestic example of sangiovese that you can easily still put aside for a while, but absolutely enjoy now too
Very long
Decanting would be very beneficial — 5 years ago
Really cool stuff...nose of maturing Syrah, currant jam, cedar. Inky with minimal rim gradation. Palate is fruit/tannin up front with northern Rhone gentility on the end. Soy sauce, roasted meat, iron, leather. We last had this four years ago and it’s still going strong. Worth tracking down. — 6 years ago

A classic - honey, lemon rind, floral, hint of herbs and seamless texture. — 8 years ago
Library wine purchased at the tasting room. Third of three bottles tasted. Plum brown in color. Prune mint blueberry cherry fruit leather and briar notes in nose. Berry, tea, mint, orange, plum and soy flavors in mouth, cherry finish with minor seed tannins. Challenging to judge a Pinot Noir aged this long, and not enough experience at it as a wine drinker, but it proved a surprisingly decent pour and most enjoyable. Much more enjoyable than the previous bottle tasted three months earlier, bottle variation perhaps? — 8 years ago
