Nose: faint pear. As this opens more chaaagne
Palate: lovely. Juicy. Mineral. Citrus. Big acidity. Apricot. Lovely hint bitterness
Finish : long and sprightly.
Needs a decant. Best after 1 hour. — 4 months ago
Took to a Dutch BYOB.So it was PnP.
Very sappy, cherry skins and pits. Dense, opened up over the course of dinner. Could have been the Pork shank. Forest fruits and dark brightness, an oxymoron I know. Delicious stuff wether you decant or not. Some yrs. won’t hurt.

Really stunning wine. Maybe best one ever and I have had everyone since 14. Nose is dripping with terror, deep forest, rain soaked moss, light sweet wood, burst of minerals and some green apple skins. But so stunningly pure. Palate is rich and ripe but so pure and juicy. Elegant and deep with a lovely opulence and wonderful freshness and lift. Impressive finish. Such an airy yet dense wine. Just glorious. — a month ago

Purchased wine at winery during visit to Paso Robles on October 16, 2019. The name “Skins” references the fact that Terry Hoage played for the Washington Redskins in addition to referencing grape skins. Winery closed in 2023. Sweet cherry and raspberry fruit, with graphite and spice. Nice acidity and balance. — 5 years ago

Cheers to this Pinot Grigio from Slovenia! 🇸🇮
It has a beautiful, pale, rosy-orange tint due to extended time on the skins, which gives it a lovely texture. 👁 The mouthfeel has some weight to it. Yet it’s refreshing and has a lot of food-pairing potential. If you’re a rosé lover, like me, this would be a fun alternative to try. 👌
This wine is dry, youthful, and offers medium intensity in aromas and flavor notes. 👃👄 Notes include white peach, pear, lemon pith, grapefruit rind, and wet slate. Acidity, alcohol, and body are medium. The finish is also medium.
Pullus, Pinot Grigio, 2019, ABV 13%. Picked this up at @thewinepeople for $15.99, which sure seems like a great value. — 4 years ago
