Light ruby in color with medium intensity and some cloudiness.

Nice nose of blueberries, cherries, currants, oak, spices, earth, wet leaves, herbs, peppercorn, pencil lead, dark coffee and light vegetables.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with black currants, cherries, strawberries, wood, wet leaves, herbs, forest floor, vegetables and peppercorn.

Medium plus in length on the finish with no tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a nice expression of a piece of history from Southern France. This 39 year old is still showing nice fruits with nice complexity and mouthfeel. Tasty and engaging.

Good right out of the bottle, and started dying after an hour of airtime.

Very enjoyable, even by itself, and better than I expected. Another great experience.

I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

13% alcohol by volume.

Nose took a while to get there and then wow. Crunchy berries, floral, high toned, but reserved and demure and holding so much back. Insane inner mouth aromas, sweet fruit and earthy. Gorgeous energy and minerality. Pure and ephemeral. Balance is perfect. So pure. But all in all too young. Wonderful wine. — 2 days ago

Gorgeous nose. Mid season cherries, spice, mineral. Just opened and this needs at least an hour. Having it with dinner in a few hours. Palate is super. Lacey and so well in it with terrific finesse. Terrific inner mouth aromas. Complex and ethereal. Light as a feather but very substantial and builds spectacularly on the finish. Which is super long and flowing with cherries and minerals. Coats the palate. Brilliant and ephemeral. Will fill out over next two hours and get sweeter and more complex. Tannins are so refined. It’s almost like hi end Champagne. Stunning. My score will go up.

Nose is stingingly mineral. Some brioche. Some green apple.

Palate has some very good clean fruit. Nice yeast. Mineral but not super mineral. Very fresh. Almost like the best clean green apple ever. Like an heirloom green apple.

This is a very well made wine for what it is. For under $50 it’s a good deal. Over that it’s not complex enough to justify the price.

I dont know why I’m having this with sausage and peppers. It’s been that kind of day.

On open this is sick. Deep minerals. Some apple. Really dense. Perfumed.

Palate is almost a sweet fruit. Great minerality. Wow.

An hour in - Petrified flowers. Silky. Elegant juice. Green apple flower crunchy acids. Holy holy holy crap.

Like drinking perfume capsules of aromatics. As this opens this is a miracle. Like drinking perfume if it tasted good.
