Tried this a few years ago and was unimpressed. I guess I was a little young. Elegant. Fruit, wood, acid — anonymous in that it tastes more like “wine” than those individual flavors, but tastes like … wine should. I can’t believe it, but Suckling was right. 91. — a month ago
Herbal, dry, good acidity — tremendous value on discount ($7 a bottle!!). 89+….let’s say 90 to be neighborly. I should buy another case or two. — 13 days ago
Good and simple. Crianza for sure. Just squeaks into a 90. — 20 days ago
Good, but you can get a much better Barbera than this for $15 — not a great value. 89. — a month ago
Bright cheap cherry chocolate swill. Back to TJ’s with you. — 14 days ago
Decent, well made, good value, but preferred the other vintage I tried. 89. — 20 days ago
Savoury and non-decscript. Good for price. 87. — a month ago
Lot 74. Very simple, but appealing — clay dusty and lots of smooth fruit. Great deal on closeout. 89. — a month ago

Pop and pour (practically) — can’t be helped.
NOSE: something savory, blackberry, and a little violet. Mild clove. A little clay. Something…Mexican?
TASTE: juicy, purple cassis and clay. Fresh and tasty. The kind of wine I like, basically. Blueberry pie after air. 93.
