This 24 year old GSM blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape is still drinking beautifully, although definitely not in its peak anymore.
Still shows enough fruits, with lots of earth notes. So complex and interesting, with a very complex nose. Loved smelling on it for a while.
Good by itself or with food. I love trying these kind of aged wines.
A blend of equal amounts of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah, from over 65 year old vines. Aged for 12 months in large oak barrels.

This 15 year old Rioja Reserva is drinking very nicely now. Showing nice complexity at this point.
Still young and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. A very tasty aged Rioja, and a good food wine.

I Had this vintage a year ago, and it feels pretty much the same.
A blend of 75% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha, 5% Mazuelo and 5% Graciano. Aged in used American oak barrels for 6 years.

This 13 year old is drinking beautifully now. Shows exactly how you would expect it to, especially from this wonderful vintage.
Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Good by itself or with food. Rich yet elegant.
Good right out of the bottle, and much better after 2 hours of airtime, when tannins show up.
I've had a few different vintages of this wine, younger and older, and I find this to be at a perfect age for my palate. Nonetheless, it will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years.

Beautiful ruby in color with a very wide reddish/ brick rim.
Beautiful nose of blueberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, figs, raisins, vanilla, cedar, licorice, cola, chocolates, spices, turmeric, eucalyptus and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cherries, oak, light vanilla, spices, dark chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, earth, wet leaves, vinaigrette and soy sauce.
Long tangy finish with soft tannins and raspberries.
This 13 year old Israeli red blend is still drinking very nicely. Easy drinking with nice complexity and a gorgeous nose.
I chose not to decant it, and it didn't last for more than 90 minutes. On its last leg, but still delicious.

This 14 year old is drinking very nicely now, although not from the best vintage.
Needs 2 hours to open up properly and show the beautiful nose, but pretty good right out of the bottle too.
This Gran Reserva is always enjoyable. A nice wine to have by itself or with food, and especially great with fatty cheeses.

Another oldie, probably just past its peak. 38 years old - not bad! Barn-sided red with some brick on the edge. Lots of cedar, graphite, black pepper and cigar ash to smell but little fruit. Nice smooth tannins, still a little puckering. Medium acidity. For flavor there are some darker berries and red cherry notes. It’s a nicely balanced wine. Good length on the finish. — 2 years ago

Feels like an aged Left Bank Bordeaux.
Loved the nose here, but needed an hour of airtime to open up. After 3 hours of airtime, more vegetable and earth notes show up.

This 10 year old Napa Cabernet Sauvignon is probably on its way out. Still very drinkable, but a little unbalanced and showing lots of earth notes.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after two hours of air time.
Showing nice complexity at this point, but a little bitter for my taste.
Although still good, I expected more from this second wine from this producer and this vintage.

This is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley (To Kalon Vineyard). Showing great complexity with a great mouthfeel.
Rich, extracted and opulent. Fruit-forward and elegant. A delicious wine. Spicy with a teeth staining color.
This 15 year old from the great 2007 vintage is just beautiful now. Has a lot of years in it still, and will continue to age nicely in the 15 years.
Delicious right out of the bottle, and even better after 3 hours of airtime.
Good by itself as a sipping wine. I just loved it.

Full bodied, elegant and smooth, with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry on the palate with blueberries, plums, currants, oak, cedar, leather, vanilla, licorice, spices, tobacco leaf, peppercorn, pencil lead, light vegetables, coffee and chocolates.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a great Cabernet blend from California. Showing great complexity with a soft mouthfeel.
This 13 year old is a delicious Bordeaux blend. Well balanced and engaging, with a tangy finish that makes it interesting.
Needs a couple of hours to open up properly, show the tannins and become its own.
Good by itself or with food. I paired it with light appetizers. A good wine to pair with BBQ Meats.

Good right out of the bottle, and so much better after 2 hours in the decanter.
Drinking at its peak, and will continue to drink beautifully in the next 5 years.
I had a few vintages of this wine, and it is very consistent. A good quality wine.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food like a big piece of steak.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in all new French oak barrels for 24 months. A tiny production of around 1,000 bottles.

Dark rubi robe with a slight brick color on the rim. One would never say its over 40 years old. Cedar notes intertwined with dark cherries, tobacco, pencil lead, and secondary aromas. This is a great surprise, as the cork totally crumbled, and I expected the worst, but it really delivered.
Shows nice balance, and great complexity with a velvety mouthfeel.
Easy drinking and good right out of the bottle. As it opens up, tannins come in (45 minutes), and make it more structured and interesting.
A great sipping wine to have all by itself and talk about. The nose is just gorgeous.
