I have not had 10-year in a while, tried 10/20/30/40 around holidays. Taylor's is now into its 4th century & one of the oldest Port houses. Last totally independent company of the original British Port houses, still family owned and managed. Aged for 10 years in oak casks. Amber color with aromas of sweet dried fruits and nutty notes. On the palate sweet ripe fruit in a nutty oak wrapper, some vanilla and ending with a raisin aftertaste. Smooth, consistent. Nice value.

Thin legs. Cherry and caramel nose
Nice depth but a little too tannic and bitter on the finish.

Legs have bits of fruit in them, but 9/10. Oaky, nutty, caramel taste. Very oaky taste, nutty on the tongue. Not my fave but a good port.

Jan 22nd, 2019OK where do I start someone wrote that this had butterscotch notes..... yes it has butterscotch notes but they are horribly off key. Taste like some kind of licorice nasty stuff I don't know who will help people like this it honestly doesn't taste like wine. My friend recommended we mix it with cranberry and grape juice and that made it a little more palatable but I only managed eight Sips before I put the glass down. If your looking for a nice wine that tastes like wine, don't waste your money here.

Dec 25th, 2016This is the port I've been looking for. Not too sweet, lots of complexity, and really smooth
