Michelle balanced though on the acidic side and very well paired with mushroom chicken rice by Evan — 3 months ago
Best Chardonnay I’ve tried — 5 years ago
Stunning, lifted nose of violets, blackberry, red fruit, florals and a little barbecue-sauce savoriness, almost Côte-Rôtie-like in perfume. The palate is juicy, elegant and nicely mature, with good texture and freshness, but it lacks the excitement and precision of Sylvain Gauthier’s later wines. Unfortunately, there is also a touch of heat on the finish that I cannot get past. Beautiful aromatics, solid wine, but the palate keeps it at 9.3. — a month ago
Generally not a big fan of cabernet franc, but this was recommended to me as an especially good example. Glad I tried it. Not heavy, but distinct notes of fruit and earth/leather. Really good abd sophisticated, especially at this price ($28 I think). Recommended by Lower Falls Wine Shop in Wellesley, MA. — 2 months ago
Only ask is for a bit more acid. But great texture, weight, lovely. — 5 years ago
Great wine. Love the light taste but the body is amazing. It doesn’t have an aftertaste but you can definitely taste all the flavors while you’re drinking it. If you’re a cab fan it’s worth a try. — 5 years ago
Aged in Stockinger barrels. Spicy, with a touch of wood and cake spices. No sulfites. Juicy, clean and remarkably pure, with gras texture balanced by freshness. Gentle, delicate, deep and explosive all at once. — 2 months ago

Lyle Fass

Founder Fass Selections
Beautifully expressive Cabernet Franc nose of red currant, sour cherry, cassis, moss, lavender, thyme and an enormous amount of rosemary. The palate initially offers glorious, creamy red fruit, excellent purity, freshness and ripe, melting tannins, with remarkable precision for 2018. That first open-bottle preview is seductive, but air brings a firmer, chewier and more tannic structure, while a small alcoholic seam becomes increasingly pronounced. Still juicy, vibrant and unmistakably Cabernet Franc, but less seamless than the opening suggested.
Day two is the better showing. The nose is deeper, with more cassis and the same nervous herbal energy. The palate has rounded out, gaining a touch of opulence and a gorgeous creamy texture, while the alcohol has largely integrated and the balance is now excellent. Beautiful wine. — 17 days ago
