"Les Evocelles" Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir 1er Cru 2017

Brought this to date night at La Crem; excellent G-C, nose is superb, palate is restrained rather than explosive; started to seem a bit wooden later in the opening. Paired best with the Dover sole course — 2 months ago

Les Clos Chablis Grand Cru Chardonnay

Very clean, crisp, and full bodied for a Chablis! Nice exposure to lees and oak to provide the body with citrus and minerality front and center. — 3 months ago

Vergelesses Savigny-Les-Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2021

Best wine of the pairing menu. If I ever go back here. It’s not because of the wine. — a month ago

Special Club Brut Champagne 2015

Golden yellow in color, with delicate and lively bubbles. The nose has elegant aromatic complexity, with superb finesse, floral hints (rose), hazelnut, and almond aromas. Generous and unctuous, with undertones of toasted bread, stewed yellow-fleshed fruit, and a slight floral touch. — 2 months ago

Montmain Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay

Lemon peel, mineral air, lemon oil, the sea.

Oyster shell, subtle lemon oil, minerality.

Very elegant style. Martini-like mouthfeel and texture.

Really lovely expression of Chardonnay especially in stark contrast to California style chards from Sandhi and Matthiasson. Wow, Chablis. I love Chablis.
