This Pinot from Oregon sets high standards and gives the California pinots a run for their money. Would put in the same Cayley as Lynmar and Selyem — 6 years ago
Ruby in color with medium intensity and a wide reddish rim.
Fresh red berries on the nose and medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing fresh cherries, sweet raspberries, light wood, tobacco, black pepper, chocolates, spices, light earth and herbs.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This young Pinot Noir from Oregon is starting to drink nicely now, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Rich and fruity, smooth and spicy. Nicely balanced and complex, soft and elegant.
I've had a few vintages of this Pinot Noir and it is so much better with age. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

A good quality wine. Good right out of the bottle, and better with some airtime.
Interesting, easy drinking and a good sipping wine.
Pinot Noir grapes were aged in (55% new) French oak barrels for 16 months.

Really a wonderful cote rotie in a prime drinking window at ~10 years. 13% abv which is appreciated. Very balanced with wonderful length. Great acid. Quite typical Syrah on the nose. Mouth filling with nice deep fruit and some earth. Great pairing with terrine and wild hare at Auberge Bressane in Paris. — 2 years ago
The somm at Spago Las Vegas recommended this to go with poached halibut. Nice choice. Minerally, not oaky. A bit of citrus “surprise”. — a month ago
This is the fullest bodied and ripest 2007 Willamette PN I’ve had. 14.5% stated alcohol. Just a bit over the top but still enjoyable. — 6 months ago
2016 was smooth and delicious, tasted during a flight at Domaine Serene Oregon — 6 months ago
We got a future legend here. Nose js exotic citrus, herbs galore, slate, some pink grapefruit and apricot. Very expressive and super clear. There is also an umami aroma that is so enticing. Stunning. 9.7 nose. Palate is a dream. Citrus and sweet lime along with gorgeous clarity and freshness. This is ungodly fresh. Awesome grip, acidity and length yet ephemeral and light on its feet. So juicy and tangy with lovely salt notes on the finish. This is magic and has elite finesse why it is a 9.7 wine. Can’t wait to see what air does. Now with air the nose gets confectionary. Unreal variety of citrus now. Some sea air. Now the palate has a lemon lime citrus sweet tart aspect and is gaining some crunch. Wow what a finish. This is genius. — 2 years ago

Superb!!! Ruby red with aromas of black cherry, black currant, plum, and black pepper. Nice long finish with flavors of black cherry, plum, blueberry, baking spices, and pepper. Slight tartness. Excellent with of Chimichurri Tri-tip. — 4 days ago
