Earthy, dark red fruits, along with a hint of spice. In a good drinking window right now. Great with steak. — 2 months ago
Blackberry, boysenberry, potting soil, and some spice on the nose. After decanting for over 30 minutes, an intense nose of purple flowers emerged. Not as peppery as I thought it would be. Great with many kinds of heavy, red meats. Good but should get even better in a few more years. — 6 months ago
Ripe strawberries, ripe peach, cheese rind, and blood orange on the nose. Good value for the price. — a year ago
Better than I expected and excellent for the price.
Lime zest, tangerine, as well as strong hints of beeswax and minerality on the nose. Bone dry with medium plus acidity. Great with many kinds of food. — 2 months ago
Wonderful wine from Margaux. Drinking at its peak right now. Tannins have softened. Lovely aromas of black fruits, vanilla, potting soil, white chocolate, and graphite. Elegant and ponderous. — 10 months ago
Delicious Pinot Noir from a reputable producer. Lots of strawberries, cranberries, vanilla, and baking spices on the nose. With a bit of air, a hint of earth developed. Ready to drink right now. — 5 months ago
I love German Riesling and this is a great example of it from a solid producer. Wonderfully aromatic and complex. Hints of jackfruit, mango, apricot, beeswax, and honeysuckle on the nose. A good amount of acidity and quite sweet but not cloying. — 7 months ago
